Terms of Service

1. The service
Live IQ transcribes interviews and meetings as they happen, shows short answer hints, and writes reviews and meeting notes afterwards. Hints, reviews and notes are generated by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Use them as suggestions and rely on your own judgment.
2. Your account
You can sign in with Apple, Google or a code sent to your email. Keep your sign-in methods secure. An account listens on one device at a time: starting on a new device stops the old one.
3. Purchases and listening time
- Minute packs and week passes are bought through the App Store as one-time purchases. Nothing renews automatically. Prices are shown in the App Store.
- Listening is charged by the second for the time it actually runs. The first 30 seconds are charged when listening starts. A current week pass is used before your minutes.
- A week pass gives unlimited use for 7 days from purchase, with a fair-use limit of 10 hours per pass. Passes bought while one is running are added after it.
- If a listening run hears no speech at all (up to 5 minutes), its time is returned automatically.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. When a purchase is refunded, its unused minutes are removed and a refunded week pass ends.
- Free minutes given to new accounts are for trying Live IQ and can't be transferred or exchanged.
4. Using Live IQ
Use Live IQ within the law and the rules of the setting you use it in. Where recording or transcribing others needs their consent, get it first. Don't interfere with, reverse engineer or abuse the service, including creating accounts in bulk or exploiting bugs to get listening time; we may limit or close accounts that do.
Optional on-device voice profiles assist speaker labeling, not identity authentication. They can be wrong, particularly with replayed, distant, noisy or overlapping speech. Confirm the speaker before relying on an answer. Enroll only your own voice and obtain any consent required for recording other people.
5. Changes to the service
We keep improving Live IQ and features may change. The service is provided as is; to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from using or being unable to use it.
6. Changes to these terms
We update this page when the terms change and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use Live IQ means you accept the updated terms.
